Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Crash – 239 Feared Dead

It is feared that 239 may have died in the air crash as boeing 777 mysteriously disappeared when it was in Vietnam in just 2 hours, after it took off from Malaysia. The Malaysia Airlines  flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur at 12.21 AM.  Among the missing or dead,  the flight included 227 passengers and 12 crew members. The passengers were from different nationalities including 153 from China, 38 from Malaysia, 12 from Indonesia, 6 from Australia, 3 from France,  4 from US, 2 each from New Zealand, Ukraine and Canada and 1 each from many other countries like  Taiwan, Russia and Italy.

It is believed that if the plane did crash, the loss would be the second fatal airplane accident involving a Boeing 777 in less than one year, and the worst since the airplane company, US built, Boeing 777-200 ER came into existence in 1995.  An officer from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said that the plane did not check in at the scheduled time of 5:21 PM GMT while it was flying over the sea between Malaysia and Ho Chi Minh City.
